Whilst this news story (here) sounds a little bit suspicious (it is too early to check it on Snopes yet), it does raise an important point… if you are coming to OzFox 2007 from overseas, make sure you end up in Sydney (Australia) not those other differently spelled cities that sound similar.

SOFTWARE: Office 2007 Upgrade stumbles
So, I ‘finally’ {g} upgraded to Office 2007. Nothing particularly interesting about that, except to say that I too am indebted to Scott Hanselman (along with many thousands around the globe…)
I experienced the dreaded ‘…cannot upgrade from a prerelease version of 2007 Microsoft Office system…’ message.
But Scott guided me through it all with his great [...]
